Online payment and meter reading is available by choosing Bill Payment & Meter Reading. We accept electronic check, VISA, or MasterCard on our secure website.

Automatic Direct Debit
Once you return the completed authorization form (PDF Document 82 KB) ANEC will debit your checking or savings account on the 16th of each month (or the next business day) for the amount of your current electric bill. Please allow 30-60 days for the direct debit option to become effective. When Direct Debit is in effect, you will see "Bank Draft mm/dd/yyyy" (date account will be debited) printed on your electric bill. Please continue to pay your bills by the due date until this statement appears on your bill. Notify our office immediately of any changes in your financial institution or bank account number.

Unless you have signed up for the Cooperative to read your meter each month, you will need to continue to read your electric meter and report your reading to our office by the 20th of the month. (This does not apply to those accounts located in the former Delmarva Power service territory.) Readings may be reported via our Bill Payment & Meter Reading web page or by contacting our office.

Recurring Monthly Credit Card Payment
Complete the Recurring Monthly Credit Card Payment Authorization Form (PDF Document 107 KB) and return it to our office to have your payment charged to your MasterCard or Visa on the 16th of each month (or the next business day) for the amount of your current electric bill. Please allow 30-60 days for this option to become effective. When the automatic charge is in effect, you will see "Credit Card mm/dd/yyyy" (date account will be debited) printed on your electric bill. Please continue to pay your bills by the due date until this statement appears on your bill. Notify our office immediately of any changes in your credit card information.

Mail
Enclose your payment together with your remittance advice in the return envelope provided each month and mail it to us. You may use a check, money order, or include your VISA or MasterCard data on the back of the remittance advice. Please do not send cash via the mail.

Counter
You may bring your payment to our office at 21275 Cooperative Way in Tasley, Virginia, 23441. We are open Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We accept cash, checks, money orders, VISA and MasterCard at the counter.

Drive-Thru
Payments can be made using our convenient drive-thru which is located on the south side of our office building. The drive-thru is open during normal business hours.

Depository
Should you come to our office when we are closed you may still pay your electric bill through our depository 24 hours per day. It is located on the front of our office to the right of the front doors. An envelope is available for your use. We recommend that you pay only with checks or money orders in the depository since no receipt is provided. You may also pay by credit card through the depository by giving us your credit card information on the back of your remittance advice.
